Mr. Henningsen was born in Omaha, Nebraska on October 25, 1949. He was admitted to the California Bar in 1975 following his education at the University of Santa Clara (B.A., 1971) and the University of Puget Sound (J.D., 1974). Currently he is a member of the Federation of Insurance and Corporate Counsel; Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California; Association of Defense Trial Attorneys; California State Bar; Santa Clara County Bar Association; Defense Research Institute; Panel of Federal Court and Superior Court Arbitrators and the American Arbitration Association. His practice emphasis is in construction defect, environmental litigation and personal injury/products liability. Mr. Henningsen has handled over 1,000 construction and environmental cases. He specializes in the defense of developers and general contractors in complex litigation matters in both State and Federal Court. Mr. Henningsen has served as an expert panelist in construction seminars and has appeared as a construction expert in both State and Federal Court. He has also served as a Special Master in construction defect litigation.
