Born November 20, 1957 in Hong Kong, Mr. Schellerup attended the University of Florida and received his undergraduate degrees in political science and economics in 1979. He thereafter attended and graduated from the University of Florida, School of Law in June, 1983. Mr. Schellerup was admitted to practice in Florida in October, 1983, California in May, 1984 and Nevada in January, 2000.
Mr. Schellerup joined the law firm of Robinson & Wood, Inc. in 1984 and has been an active trial attorney and litigator in the State and Federal Courts of California since that time. He is an active member and lecturer of the Defense Research Institute, Santa Clara County Bar Association and the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California. He is also a member of the California State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, Santa Clara County Bar Association, and the American Law Firm Association.
In Santa Clara County, Mr. Schellerup has served as a Judge Pro Tem and as an arbitrator for the Superior Court. He has also volunteered his time to assist high school mock trial teams, as well as the University of Santa Clara Law School moot court competitions.
While continuing to practice in the San Jose office, Mr. Schellerup is now the resident shareholder in the Las Vegas office. The Las Vegas office handles a wide variety of civil litigation, including construction, products liability and personal injury litigation.
