Cyndi Claxton’s current practice is focused on commercial litigation matters brought in federal court. These matters primarily involve contract actions, including those for breach, declaratory relief, and trade secret misappropriation.
Prior to joining Robinson & Wood, Ms. Claxton worked as a research law clerk at a small AV-rated commercial and general litigation partnership in San Jose. Additionally, Ms. Claxton worked at a large and well-known national laboratory facility where she was able to utilize some of her legal education in the areas of patent, copyright and trademark law.
Ms. Claxton was born in and a brief resident of Denver, Colorado. Ever since, she has been a native of the Bay Area. She received her undergraduate education at Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California (B.S., 1999). In 2003, Ms. Claxton returned to Santa Clara University’s School of Law (J.D., 2006) to pursue a legal education. She is licensed in California (2006) and may also practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
