Mr. Kaufman is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2003, he was admitted to the Nevada State Bar and the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada. He possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and is a Nevada licensed Real Estate Broker/Salesperson. Mr. Kaufman received his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in San Diego.
Prior to law school, Mr. Kaufman served as a Senate staff member for United States Senator Richard H. Bryan of Nevada in Washington, D.C. During law school, Mr. Kaufman was a distinguished member of the International Law Moot Court Team and received an American Jurisprudence Award for exceptional achievement while working for several business litigation law firms. In 2003, Mr. Kaufman accepted a judicial externship with (now) Nevada Supreme Court Justice Michael A. Cherry.
Before joining Robinson & Wood, Mr. Kaufman practiced corporate/business law, commercial transactions and real estate litigation at a Las Vegas law firm. As a member of Robinson & Wood, Mr. Kaufman refined his expertise and developed his clientele base into an impressive real estate portfolio emphasizing his Nevada roots. In 2007, Mr. Kaufman founded his own law firm dedicated exclusively to business transactions and real estate law. After gaining valuable experience as head of his own law firm, Mr. Kaufman returned to Robinson & Wood in 2009 to provide expertise in real estate and Nevada business law matters.
