Mr. Macias was born in San Jose, California and received a B.S. in Political Science and English from Santa Clara University. He received his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, in May 2009. During law school, Mr. Macias served as Editor-in-Chief of the Chicana/o-Latina/o Law Review and published a comment entitled "The Chicana/o-Latina/o Law Review: The Plight of the Identity Journal." 28 Chicana/o-Latina/o Law Review 57 (Summer 2009). He was the recipient of the Mexican-American Bar Foundation Scholarship in 2007, the Mexican-American Legal Defense & Educational Fund (MALDEF) Scholarship in 2007, and the Mexican-American Bar Foundation's White & Case LLP Scholarship in 2008. Before joining Robinson & Wood, Inc., Mr. Macias served as a post-graduate attorney law clerk in the Employment, Regulations, & Administrative Law Section at the California Attorney General's Office, defending state government agencies in employment and constitutional issues filed in federal and state court. Mr. Macias was admitted to the California State Bar in 2009 and is a member of the American Bar Association.
