Born in Boston, Massachusetts, June 24, 1958, Mr. Casey was admitted to practice in California in 1986. He received his undergraduate degree from University of San Diego in 1981. He graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1985. He is a member of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California; Defense Research Institute; California State Bar; Santa Clara County Bar Association, and US Law Network.

Mr. Casey specializes in civil litigation with an emphasis on defense of product liability and other tort actions, as well as insurance and commercial litigation. He has been an author and lecturer for California Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB) for several years, including chapter author for CEB publication California Civil Discovery Practice, 4th Edition (2006). Mr. Casey teaches Business Law in the College of Business at San Jose State University. He is also a frequent speaker at seminars for attorneys and clients.
