Born in Boston, Massachusetts, June 24, 1958, Mr. Casey was admitted to practice in California 1986. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of San Diego in 1981. He graduated from the University of Santa Clara Law School in 1985. He is a member of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California; Defense Research Institute; California State Bar; Santa Clara County Bar Association and Northern California Fraud Investigators Association.

Mr. Casey has unique experience in the area of insurance fraud. This includes twelve years investigating and evaluating suspicious first party and third party injury and property claims for several insurance carriers in the greater Bay Area. He frequently presents seminars to insurance carriers and risk management groups on topics pertaining to the detection of insurance fraud.

Mr. Casey currently serves as an author for California Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB) Practice Guide: "Civil Discovery Practice in California." He is also a volunteer pro-tem Judge for Superior and Municipal courts and currently serves part-time as a judicial hearing officer for the City of Campbell.
